聚二偏氟乙烯具有非常優良的強度、承壓能力（lì）、尺寸（cùn）穩定性和化學穩定性，即使在（zài）低（dī）溫環境（jìng）下也可保持高強度和（hé）高韌性，並可自行熄滅實（shí）現阻燃。PVDF板材具有（yǒu）低吸水性、高耐磨性、良好的耐（nài）候性、耐酸堿（jiǎn）和溶劑（jì）腐蝕（shí）、耐紫（zǐ）外線和高（gāo）能射線輻射以及耐溫等優良性能（néng），可在（—30～＋125℃）溫度之間長期使用。與其他氟塑料相比，PVDF的密度低很多（duō）（1.78g／cm），可（kě）以注塑、模壓和（hé）焊接，廣泛用於化工、建築、半（bàn）導體、醫療、國防和鋰（lǐ）電（diàn）池等（děng）領域。由（yóu）於具有化學惰性，幾乎不與（yǔ）任何介質反應：PVDF板材（cái）可（kě）焊接成槽體和設備，是純水係統和半導體行業中純淨化學試劑傳（chuán）輸和承裝的最理想（xiǎng）材料（liào）。
Polyvinylidene fluoride shows very good tensile strength,pressure resistance, dimensional stability and chemical resistance.It also displays good mechanical strength and toughness especially at low temperatures and is self-extinguishing. PVDF sheets offer low water absorption, good friction and wear values, excellent resistance to climate and solvents,acids, bases,high resistance to UV and high-energy radiation and heat.The operating temperature ranges from-30C to +150℃.Compared to other fluoropolymers, it has a lower density (1.78 g/cm3). It can be injected, molded or welded and is commonly used in the chemical,architecture, semiconductor, medical and defense industries, as well as in lithium ion batteries etc. With chemical inertness, PVDF sheets almost keep good resistance to any chemical medium and are the perfect material which is used for transmission and loading pure chemical reagent in water purification system and semiconductor industry by welding as cell body and equipment.
